FYSH

On the University of Colorado campus, nestled in the heart of Denver, a 7-story dormitory with more than 400 rooms, facilities, and common areas needed new ventilation systems to serve students, staff, and office occupants. While the majority of this design/build assignment involved student housing, there were three floors dedicated to student services operations, giving us the challenge of efficiently optimizing the conditions of various types of space. During the project, we installed over 60 heat recovery VRF systems designed to repurpose heat around the building. We also placed three ERV and two DOAS systems in the location to provide for ventilation and make-up air.
